TO TEE EDITOR. Sir, —Through the medium of yoov valuable paper I should like to ask what kind sof. coal the State has been dumping on the housewives of Christchurch for 6ome little time. Was this the coal that was imported here when the strike was on? It is of no usa (or little use) either for stove or grate. I have asked each time for Port Elizabeth coal and no other and here again they have sent,. this rubbish.
