A Rugby football match to-day between Wellington representatives and Parata'a Maori team, which toured Australia last year, resulted—Wellington 15, Maoris 13. TARANAKI v. WANGANUL [Per PhkßS Association.] WANGANUI, June 3. The first Rugby representative match of the season, Wanganuiv. Taranaki, was played here to-day. Taranaki won by 9 points to 8 points. The first Northern Union League representative mutch in Hawke's Bay this season was, played to-day between Wellington and Hawke's Bay. There was an attendance of about 10,000, and an excellent exposition of the game was witnessed. Wellington, won by 18 points to 9.
