The brigade effected a wood save in the face of a strong northerly wind. The building is insured in' the State Office for £6OO, and the furniture and stock for £IOO m the Queensland Office. Early this morning a boarding-house in Petone, occupied by Mrs Wilson, was gutted. The building was insured for £175 in the State Office, and the furniture for £l5O in the Commercial Union.
