Worcestershire, playing against Middlesex, made 263 runs in their second innings. Tarrant took five wickets for 65 runs. As Middlesex had made 509 for six wickets in their first innings, and declared, and Worcestershire's first innings had realised 190 runs, the latter thus lost by an innings and 56 runs. Since 1905. Tarrant has scored 10,000 runs for Middlesex, and has taken illmost 900 wickets. His aggregate .for the present season, is 821, an average of 91 per innings.
