SATURDAY'S GAMES. Tho various competitions were advanced another singe on Saturday in warm weather, The. grounds were in tip-lop order, and tho majority of tho games in all grades wero fast in consequence. Following are tho results:— FIRST GRADE. .At Sydenham Park Sydenham A defeated Te Whaka by five goals to nil The scorers were Patrick, Hulberb, Hawkins, Throp and Holland. Mr W. Simnson was referee. Playing at St Albans Park, Addington played a very hard game wnh TJ.R.C. winning by three goals, scored by Grammer (2) and Peters, to one goal shot by George. Mr G. Morgan was referee. Sydenham B and Selwyn met at Sydenham Park, where Schvyn wero successful, after a. very keen strugglo, by two goals, both scored by Joe. to ono goal, scorod by Cummins. Mr H. Mogridgo was referee. Tho gamo between East Belt and Oxford Terrace, plavcd at St Albans Park, was very fast. East Bolt won by four goals, scored bv Brown (3) and H. Hale, to two goals shot by Whyte. Mr N. M'Oalhim was referee. Christchurch had a bye.

SECOND GRADE. Addington defeated Woolston at the Polo Ground by two goals, scored by Gallon and Neale, to ono goal, shot by Cotton. Mr A. Grade was referee. The game Selwyn v. East Belt, played at tho Addingbon Reserve, was won by Selwyn by throe goal-;, shot by Davies (2) and Champness, to nil. Mr J. Woods was referee. At tho Polo Ground, Sydenham A won from Bible Class by four goals, scored by Clark. Davey, Forrester and Hayes, to two goals, shot by Johnston and M'Whirter. Mr T. Hughes was referee. Te Whaka defeated Christchurch .t the Polo Ground by ono goal, shot by Hendy, to nil. Mr C. Bishop was referee.

At St Albans Park Sydenham B beat Cramord bv three goals, scored by Woodiield (2) and Matthews, to two goals, shot by Harland and Quansrman. Mr G. Parrott was referee. At the Polo Ground St Luke's beat U.R.C. by three goals, scored by Bosworth (2)' and Cameron, to nil. Mr O. L. Jones was referee.

THIRD GRADE. The meeting of Technical College and Sydenham at Elisor's Road resulted in a win for Sydenham by two goals, scored by Hickinbottom and Rowan, to. nil. Mr H. Rogers was referee. New Brighton Mere, beaten by AVoolston at Woolston Domain by seven goals, scored by Egglesfon (2), Day (2), Bugg, Harrison and Snelling, to one goal,'shot by .Hilgrovo. Mr F. Hughes was referee. At the Polo Ground Riccarton Guild defeated Addington by two goals, scored by Hurrell and Fisher, to nil. Mr C. Bascand was referee. Oxford Terrace met Bible Class at Linwcod Park, tho former team winning by four goals to nil. Mr W. Law was referee. East Belt had a bye. At the Addington Reserve, Selwyn defeated Cranl'ord by four goals to nil. The scorers were Morse (3) and Sharp. Mr F. Hutchings was referee.

FOURTH GRADE. The Te Whaka v. Selwyn game, played at the Polo Ground, ended in a draw, each sido scoring ono goal. Schinkell scored for Te Whaka and Baldwin for Selwyn. Mr F. Turnpenny was referee. Technical College beat Bible Class at Elisor's Road bv fifteen goals to nil. The scorers wero Blair (4), Quinton (1), Speirs (3), Morris (3) and Hassell. Bible Class played throe short. Mr A. F. Jones was referee. Cranl'ord beat St Luke's at Linwood Park bv three goals, all scored by Franklin, to one by Wass. Mr W. Dougall was referee. At the Polo Ground, Riccarton Guild beat East Belt by three goals, scored by Lane, dime and Harrison, to ono by West. Mr IT. Key was referee. , , Addington and Woolston had byes.

FIFTH GRADE. Sydenham beat Christchurch, at Sydenham Park, by eight goals, shot by Teague (4), Gay, Prichard, Mernman and Scott, to one by Richmond. Mr Turnpenny was referee. Star and Technical College met at tho Polo Ground, and the game ended in a draw, neither side scoring. Mr L. It. Dulicu was referee. Oxford Terrace and Selwyn met at the Polo Ground, when the former won by ono goal, scored by H. North, to nil. Mr C. Brown was refereeCranford had a bye.

TOURNAMENT AND REPRESENTATIVE GAMES. At Sydenham Park on Wednesday there will be a busy hockey day. Commencing at 9.30 a.m., a five-a-side tournament for all grades will be held, and in the morning representative games will be plaved also against South Canterbury and Ashburton. The tournament will last all day.

CANTERBURY v. ASHBURTON. Tho following will represent Canterbury against Ashburton at Sydenham Park on Juno 3, at 10 a.m.: —C. Brown, AY. Skelton, AY. Hay, J. Pascoe, 0. Butterfield, AY. Dufßeld, 1. Hutchings, R. Joe, If- Bell, S. Hawkins and AY. Chappell. Any player unable to be present must inform the selectors at once. All players must be on the ground at 9.30 a.m. to meet tho selectors and to elect captains. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 30. The following are the results of Saturday’s Senior games:—University beat Auckland by four goals to nil; Ponsonb.v beat College Rifles by one goal to nil. LADIES’ MATCHES. SENIORS. Chief interest centred on Saturday in tho meeting of Hinemoa and AYaimairi A at Papanui, where a fine game ended in favour of the Kaiapoi team by three goals, scored by Misses M. Pearce (2) and P. Pearce, to one goal scored by Miss S. Kruso. Mr J. J. Adams was referee.

Kia Ora and Digby'stfiiet at Woolston Domain, where Digby's won easily by five goals, scored by Misses Leslie (2), Low, Oakley and Walker, to nil. At the Polo Ground, Waimairi B won from To Kaha by three goals, scored by Misses Chapman, Hudson and Horner, to nil. To Kaha played one short. Messrs S. J- Smith and Couzens were referees.

Wharenui and Ngaio met at tho Polo Ground,, where a draw resulted, each side scoring two goals. Misses Knight and Cross scored for Wharenui, and Misses Parker and Dalzell for Ngaio. Mr C. Wykes was referee.
