The last of the four huge funnels of the Cunard liner Aquitania, which is being built on the Clyde, has been placed in position. This funnel is 24ft wide and its summit stands 160 ft above the Vessel’s keel, or 20ft higher than the Nelson monument. Each of the four funnels weighs 1500 ton*.
