PRESENTATIONS.
At the usual monthly social and lance of the Christchurch Fire Brigade, held last evening, opportunity was taken to make presentations to (Senior Foreman A. R. Davis, who is
Raring to take up business on his own 'account in Rangiora. The Mayor (Mr H. Holland), on behalf of the Brigade, presented Mr Davis with a salad bowl, > brief bag and a pipe, and spoke of the esteem in which ho was held by his comrades, and wished him every success in his new venture. On behalf of the Fire Board, the chairman (Mr A. L. Parsons) presented Mr Davis 'with a purse of sovereigns, a two.yeara' service bar and a seven-years' certificate.
