SYDNEY, May 12. 1 Mr Stowe, architect, submitted to a committee of the North Sydney Council a plan for stores and workshops which the Union Company proposes erecting at Ball’s Head. The plans include provision for tanks for the storage of twelve thousand tons of oil fuel, also large quantities of coal. The complete scheme involves an expenditure of £IOO,OOO. Mr Stowe will visit America to study the latest methods of fuel storage and secure the best machinery for transporting it.
