LIBERAL-LABOUR ASSOCIATION.
TO THE F.DITOK Sir,—l would just like to point out to your correspondent, “Advanced Iladrcal _that he entmdy misses the point that Mr H. Hunter raised in hi<, telegram to Sir J. G. Ward on the above Association. Mr Hunter objects to the Association using tho name “ Labour ” and I may say also that organised Labour also objects. Tho casual observer would naturally concludo that there had been a political alliance concluded between the Liberals and Labour Now as a matter of fact, no such arrangement has been come to. it i s therefore a misnomer to call the Association “Liberal-Labour.” Imitation is S emcerost form or Mattery iln d T.nlinn,. can afford to smile, seeing fho Liberals of Christchurch have had to use b tho name Labour to prop up an Association that its members were afraid could not stand on its ZTS —I am, etc., . _ , kahuhura.
