The “Daily Chroniclo’s ’’ Berlin correspondent states that tho great emporium of W. Wertheim, Limited, has failed. Tho liabilities amount to £900,000 and tho assets to £125,000. It recently liquidated a heavy indebtedness to tho Princess Fund. The trust ended owing to quarrels between two princely partners and its numerous undertakings havo been transferred to tho Dutch Bank.
