There is a financial crisis in Brazil.
The European purse-strings havo been pulled tighter, and money is hoarded to an astonishing extent. The banks hold only 20 per cent of tho currency.
The money in circulation is calculated at £26;000,000 and is literally locked up in boxes. Firms importing safes and strong boxes are unable to meet the demand. *
