Books and newspapers, 7 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1. For Dunedin, per Maitai, at 11 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.15 a.m.; guard’s van, 11.65 am. train. For Northern Ports, per Monowai, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard's van, 7.40 p.m. train. For Continent of Europe and United Kingdom, via Monte Video and Toneriffe (specially addressed correspondence only), per Monowai, to connect with lonic at 6.16 p.m.; late feo letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard’s van, 7.40 p.m. train; registered articles and parcels, 4.45 p.m.; hooks and newspapers, 5.45 p.m. train. For Kaikoura, per Cygnet, at 6.15 p.m.; late feo letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard’s van, 7.40 p.m. txain. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2. Wahine. to connect with Moeraki, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee lotters, 6.45 p.m. f guard’s van, 7.40 p.m. train; money orders, 4 p.m.; registered articles, 4.45 p.m.; books and newspapers, 5.45 p.m. For Northern Ports, per Mooraki, at 3 p.m.; lato feo letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. Also per Wahine, at 6.15 p.m.; lato fee letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard’s van, 7.40 p.m. train. MONDAY, OCTOBER 6. For Chatham Islands, per Mararoa, to connect with Himitangi, at 4.15 p.m.; late fee lotters, 4.80 p.m.; guard’s van, 6.25 p.m. train. Miails that left London on August 29, via Brindisi, are due in Christchurch on Ootober 7, as follows:—Letters, 8 a.m., via Auokland; newspapers. 8 p.m., via Bluff.
