The- officer in charge of the Christchurch office of the Tourist Department (Mr G. W. C. Moon) wrote asking to be given an opportunity of replying to a statement reported in a newspaper as having been made by the manager of the Union’s West Coast touring team, to the effect that £2O could have been saved had theyteam not .hooked though ,tho Tourist .Deßartment.tij.-rW: .)• Air Moon attended the meeting.
