I HEREBY (five Public Notice that the following By-law has teen made under the provisions of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908: SPEED OP MOTORS ON DYER'S PASS ROAD, and PAGE'S ROAD, BROMLEY. 148. No person shall drive a motor-car, motor-bioyole or motor-tricycle along Dyer's Pass Road (whick road commences at the foot of Cashmere Hills and extends to the summit of the Hills) or Hackthorne Road at a Bpeed exceeding 10 miles an hour, or Page's Road, Bromley, at a speed exceeding 12 miles an hour. When driving along Dyer's Pans Road as mentioned in the preceding section hereof, no driver of any motor shall fail or neglect to use or sound a bell or other instrument capable of giving audible and sufficient warning of the approach or position of the motor when approaching every bend or turning in the road, or any intersection or crossing in suoh road. 148 a. No person Bhall drive ft motor-car, motor-bioyole or motor-tricycle on the Hackthorne or Dyer's Pass Roads in the County of Heathcote unless such motor-car, motorbicyole or motor-tricycle is provided with a muffler or silencer or other effectual means for minimising the sound escaping from the exhaust pipe of the engine.
