AUSTRALIA v. ALL AMERICA. By Telegraph—Preig Association—Copyright. (Received August 25, 1C.30 p.m.) TORONTO, August 25. Australia in the first innings scored 402 (Macartney 186). All America has scored 149 for seven wickets. KAIAPOI CLUB. The annual meeting of the Kaiapoi Cricket Club was held on Friday, Dr J. H. Crawshaw presided, and twentytwo members were present. The report stated that out of seventeen matches played, the club had won thirteen. ■ In the competitions the seniors had won every match and the juniors had lost on only one occasion, both teams winning their competitions. Regret was oxpressed that the proposal to erect a grand stand and pavilion in the park had not made any headway. Gratification was expressed at the control of the park having passed into the hands of the various sports clubs, giving each a share in the management. The report and balance sheet, the latter showing a satisfactory credit balance, were adopted. Officers for the year were elected as follow:—Patron, Hon D. Buddo; president, Mr G. H. Blackwell; vice-presi-dents, Messrs J. H. Blackwell, J. L. Conlan, D. Richardson. A. Pearce, and J. TV. Barnard, and Drs J. H. Crawshaw. J. W. Crawshaw; club captain, Mr J. Stanton, junior; hon secretary, Mr J. Drummond; auditor, Mr H. Oram; custodian; Mr W. Temploton ; committee, Messrs H. Wilson, D. M'Grecor, G. Rollinson, IT. Oram, A. F. Rollinson, C. Tonkin; park committee delegates, Mr A. F. Rollinson, and Dr J. H. Crawshaw; Ashley Association delegates. Mr J. Stanton, junior, and Dr J. H. Crawshaw.

It was proposed to affiliato with tho Canterbury Cricket Association and Messrs L. G. Blackwell and A. H. Pearce wero deputed to interview tho Association secretary on tho question. Rules drawn up by the committee were read, and wore ordered to bo brought up at next meeting for approval. A hearty vote of thanks and gratitndo to Mr G. R. Blackwell, for invaluable assistance given to the club for many years, was carried, .mid sincere wishes were expressed for Mr Blackwell's recovery from his prolonged illness.
