I The closing match of tho season was played on the Edgewa.ro green on Saturday afternoon; between sides chosen by the president end vice-president, the vice-president's side winning by 82 to 65. . The final of the Allard rose bowl competition for first and second years • players ww, played on Saturday afternoon, between Shearman and Kuipch, the former winning. ... LINWOOD CLUB. : The championship doubles, which havebeea played in three sections, have not yet finished. The last game of section 5 was played during the week, resulting in a win for Wilkinson (17) against Burson. (12). This left three pairs in for that seotioa, Good, Snell, Wilkinson, each having won six game* and lost one. On Saturday Wilkinson (IS) defeated Good '(12), and then he defeated Snell by 19 to 10. Inwood and Price, Edwards and Velvin, Ambrose and Wilkinson, seotion winners, will complete the competition on Saturday next. Price has already scored a win against Volvia. ,
