For Northern Ports, per Mararoa, at 6 a.m.; guard’s van, 5.25 p.m. train. SATURDAY, MARCH 22. For ‘Australian States, South Africa, etc., por Maori, to connect with Mahono, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard's van, 7.40 p.m. train. MONDAY, MARCH 24. For Australian States, per express, to connect with Maunganui, at 9.30 a.m.; guard’s van, 11.65 a.m. train. For Rarotonga and Tahiti, per Mararoa, to connect with Navua. Also for Tonga, Samoa and Fiji, per Mararoa, to connect with Tofua, at 9.30 a.m.; guard’s van, 5.25 p.m. train. \ Mails from tho United Kingdom that left London on February 14, are duo in Christchurch on March 23, as follows: —Letters, 8 a.m.. via Auckland; newspapers, 6.80 p.m., via Bluff. Mails for the United Kingdom via Brindisi, despatched from Christchurch on February 7, arrived in London March 14, due data. EASTER HOLIDAYS. Good Friday.—A close holiday will be observed at all Post Offices. Mails for despatch on Friday will close at 6 a.m. Easter Monday.—All Post Offices will be open in all branches (except the Money Order and Savings Bank Department) from 9 a.m. to 10 a-m. Mails for Northern Porta will close at 9.30 a.m. Tho lottor carriers will not make a dolivory on Good Friday or Easter Monday, but a delivery of all correspondence will be made over tho public counter of the Chief Post Office on Thursday, 20th inst.. from 8 to 9 p.m., and on Easter Monday between 9 and 10 a.m. There will be two completo deliveries by letter carriers on Saturday, 22nd inst.
