WEATHER FORECASTS. Dominion meteorologist’s summary and forecast:—The baromotsr rose everywhere on Tuesday evening, with fair to cloudy weather end scattered showers. Moderato to strong westerly winds liavo prevailed. Conditions are somewhat unsettled, both to tho northward and westward of the dominion. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, with changeable weather, especially in tho northern and southernmost districts, for a low pressure is due to pas 3 in tho south about Friday, and developments nrc also probable in tho north about tho same timo, but a definito forecast cannot yot bo issued. Mr F. L. Wcolrs’s forecast for Canterbury is as fellows:—Moderate to strong northerly winds, veering to souHisrly later. Weather continue fair ■ for a short time. Indications for cc’d wor.thar and rain on Friday.
