RICHMOND- CLUB.., The Richmond Amateur Swimming Club continued its series of races on Monday evening last, when a raco of 220yds was decided at tho Municipal Baths. The following is the result: —L. Pcore, 90sec, 1; E. Yelvin, 2esec, 2; W. Sear, 44sec, 3; C. H. Jones, 55 see, 4. Or. ,L. Bull scr, H. Yardlcy 14sec, J. Knudsen 38Fec and A. Osborne 63sec, also started. A splendid finish, only about four yards separating the first four competitors. Time—4min Sopg-c. The club will hold its 440yds race at the Municipal Baths on Monday, March 31. •WALTHAM SCHOOL SPORTS. , The annual swimming races in connection with the Waltham School was concluded yesterday. On Tuesday evening, under the auspices of tho North Canterbury Club, Dr Wills’s trophy was competed for at the Rangiora Bath, in a 200yds race. The result was:—F.
