Before the Food Commission a wellknown produce merchant alleged that he had difficulty in obtaining bran, ,whio:i was attributable to the existence of a Millers' Association. He instanced that he had imported bran, and on its arrival tho price was immediately dropped upon him, and he had to sell at a loss. REPAIRS NEEDED.
A survey shows that the bottom of the warship Psyche is in a bad way. It is believed that almost the whole of the plates must be renewed.
