MAIL NOTICES.

Leltei mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations:—

Mails per express to Dunedin and South close daily at T a.m. and 11 a.m.; late fee, i.e., letters beering Id additional stamu, 11.15 a.m.; also mail van up to S a.m. and Ruard's van 11.55 a.m. train. Books and newspapers. 7 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15.

Money orderß. registered articles and parcels 2.45 p.m.. books and newspapers 8.15 p.m. For Dunedin, per Mokoia, at 1.45 p.m.; late fe*> letters, 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.45 p.m. train. Monoy orders 4 p.m. rcgistored articles 4.45 p.m., books and newspapers 5.45 p.m. Mails that left London on September 13, via Brindisi, are due in ChKstehurch on Octobor 23 as follows:—Letters, 8 a.m., via Auckland; newspapers, 5.30 p.m.. via Bluff.
