LAND TAX.

TO THE KDITOB. Sir,— Writing under tho above title, I notice that Messrs G. Fowlds, A. Withy, C. H. Nightingale and others .are trying to make capital out of the phrase " community created value." I would like to know their opinion of the amount or value of the community created value if our oversea or export market were destroyed. If tho community has created a value by building railways, bridges and making roads, surely they are well compensal-jd by the extra trade thus created. The value thus created would only last while our export market remained.—l am, etc., . P. TISCH. •
