The Maori will arrive from Wellington this morning. The vessel will be the only •teamer sailing fbr Wellington to-night, and her departure for the northern port will fallow the arrival of the 7.40 p.m. train. The Mokoia will leave Dunedin to-day for Lyttelton. On Monday she will sail for Auckland, via Wellington, Napier and Gisbomo. The Waipori will leave for Timaru to-night to complete discharge of her coal. The Kaiapoi wifi sail to-day for Westport. The Flora is due from Timaru to-morrow. She will sail on Monday for northern ports.

I The K.M.S. Tahiti left- San Francisco on Wednesday last. The vessel is due at Wellington on July 18. She has 470 bags of mails 311 Board for New Zealand. The steamer Opouri is due in port this morning for loading. The vessel is expected to sail this afternoon for Wellington and Qrsyuiouth. . Having 'loaded ft large quantity of various lines of cargo at northern ports and Timaru, the Federal-Houlder-Shire" steamer Kent is flue in port this morning to complete coaling and loading. The vessel will load several thousand carcases of frozen meat, and also about 9000 saoks of grain. The Arapawft is due on Monday from northera ports. She will load a quantity of general cargo, and sail the same day for Wellington and Fatea. The vessel's departure was made with the assistance of a fresh southerly breeze, sad being in light trim ■he should reach Cook Strait some time today, provided the wind remains favourable. The Alumna completed discharge of her cargo of timber on Saturday last, but owing l to several of her crew deserting-, she has been unable to leave port. Yesterday, however, her lato mate rejoined the vessel, and it is understood that the sum of £25 will be paid for the run to Newcastle. For some days sailors willing to ship on the vessel demanded prices ranging up to £25, but it is reported that her full complement was obtained without payment of such an exorbitant figure. Two of her crew who had been locked up in prison were released from custody yesterday and placed on board. To-morrow morning the N-ew Zealand Shipping Company's Rotorua is due in port from London, via ports and Wellington. The vessel has abont 1500 tons of carpo to land hero. Mr A. Rathbone, fourth engineer of the Mokoia, has rejoined the vessel. Mr T. Stewart has signed on the Hauroto as fourth engineer. V The local office of the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company has received advice that several of the company's vessels are delayed at Homo owing to the London labour upheavals. The vessels hold up include the Jtangatira, which was to have sailed on June 4. for Auckland, Wellington and the Bluff, via Sydney, and the Waimana, which was to have left on June 11 for Auckland, Welling ton.
