ON 9th and 10th May Excursion Tickets will bo issued to Ashburton from Christchurch, Tiraaru, Methven, Springburn and intermediate stations by trains arriving at Ashburton up to 1.40 p.m., also by the 10.0 a.m. special train from Christchurch on thoso dates, available for return till 11th May. On 9th and 10th May nn excursion train will leave Christchurch for Ashburton at 10.0 a.m., picking up passengers at Hornby, Rolleston. Dunsandel, Rakaia and Cheitsey, and arriving at Ashburton at noon. It will set down passengers at the Ashburton Saleyardg (for the Racecourse) if required. A return train will leav? Ashburton at 5.15 p.m., and arrive Christchurch 7.11 p.m. It will stop at the Ashburton Saleyards to pick up passengers and' at Chertsey, Rakaia, Dunsandel, Rolleston and Hornby to set down passengers. Holiday Excursion Tickets will not be available by the Express train leaving Ashburton for Christchurch at 3.53 p.m. The 11.55 a.m. Express* train from Christchurch will set down passengers at, the Ashburton Saleyards siding (for the Racecourse) if required.
