Twenty brakes containing Socialist Sunday school children paraded London waving the red flag. They afterwards held a May Day demonstration in Hydo Park, which was attended by many tailors and tailoresses out of 6000 who have struck for better accommodation, 2d an hour increase for piece workers, and a minimum wage of 30s for tailoresses.
EXPRESS DERAILED.
SUPPOSED ANARCHIST OUTRAGE LONDON, May 1.
The express from Calais to Paris has been derailed and ten passengers injured, including several English. Rails had been removed. The incident is attributed to the Anarchists as a May Day outrage.
