PREFERENTIAL VOTING.
TO ran EDITOR. Sir, —Your note to my letter does poor justice eithor to what you recognise as a very pressing reform or to a memory retentive enough to store the details of Sir Joseph Ward's "Mighty Enterprise." Although a warm supporter of Industries' Week, you apparently look over the water for electoral ideas. But, to be serious, the public will accept thankfully any details as to preference voting which you may be able to supply.—l am, etc., J. H. NEWLYN. Christehurch, May 2, 1912.
