Maindonald's hauling plant loaded 1514 sacks, containing over 5000 bushels of wheat, at Messrs Robinson Brothers’ and delivered them at the stores at West Eyrcton. Some 300 bushels of wheat, on account of Mr 8.. Dawson, wore also delivered making a total of over IGOO sacks hauled in ten hours. The average cartage distance was over two miles from field to store.
