The annual smoko concert of tho Canterbury Rowing Club will be held in the boathouse to-morrow evening. _ The committee meeting in connection with the social to be tendered to tho Hon H. G. Ell has been postponed until Friday of next week. Miss D. Heritage will commence a fceries of gymnasium classes for ladie3 at the Young Men’s Christian Association gymnasium on Tuesday. The classes will be held on Tuesdays, afternoon and evening, throughout the winA meeting of tho Passive Resistors Union will bo held in the Socialist Hall to-night, gA. eight o’clock.
