AMUSEMENTS.
THEATRE ROYAL. M r G. Marlowe’s dramatic company gave another successful production of ‘‘A Girl’s Temptation” at tho Theatre Royal last evening. The piece will be repeated this evening. On Saturday evening the company will produce a dramatisation of Bret Harte’s wellknown story, “The Luck of Roaring Camp.” This drama was first produced in Australia at tho Palace Theatre, Sydney, where it made an instantaneous success, and since its first production it has been played in every centre of Australia. “ Tho Luck of Roaring Camp” is full of action, interesting incidents and situations. Tho box plan is now on view at the Dresden. WEST-HAYWARD PICTURES. The story of Absalom and David, “The Octoroon” and “The D'Neill ” are still the most attractive items on tlio programme at His Majesty’s Theatre. This evening the programme will contain an additional item, a • fresh “Path© Grazette.” FULLER’S PICTURES. There was a good attendance at the Colosseum last evening, when the programme given tbe previous evening was repeated. This evening there will be a completely fresh programme. It will contain a production of “Vanity Fair.” The story has been adapted for the occasion, and Becky Sharp, Joseph Se-dley, the Crawleys and other famous characters, as interpreted by prominent actors, will he represented. Over 3200 feet of film will be used. OPERA HOUSE. Fasola and other members of tlio company that is appearing in the Opera House gave another successful performance last evening. The programme will he repeated this evening. YITAGR APH PICTURES. Tho Vita graph Pictures were shown in tho Choral Hall last evening to an appreciative audience, and will he shown again this evening. . SYDENHAM PICTURES. The management of the Sydenham , Pictures submitted another very pleasing new programme last evening. One of tho most enjoyable features was an up-to-date edition of the Gauvnont “Graphic,” a very fine film, which showed all tho most important recent events. The King was shown leaving Delhi, and also his departure from India. “Winter Sports in England” at Matlock and Buxton wero also shown. Some excellent dramatic studies found much favour with tho audience, especially a biograph film entitled “ The Old Book-keeper.” The ether dramntie numbers wero “ High Life Robbers,” “Her Captive” and “Castilian Revenge.” The comedy element was strong, especially in “ His First Commission,” “ What He Did for Love ” and “ Bobby Pulled the Trigger.” The musical accompaniments by the Empire Orchestra wero very enjoyable. The same programme will be given to-night. . MR. LUND’S CONCERT. A feature of Mr Lund’s Jubilee Concert, which is to bo held on April 18, will be the vocal section, comprising selections from Mozart, Wagner, Chopin, Gounod. Brahms and Strauss. The vocalists will be Mrs Fraser (Miss W. Nixon) and Mr George March. Tho box plan will open at tho Dresden on j Friday next. s
