The King cordially endorsed the Primate’s appeal to 'young clergy to volunteer as chaplains in India. He trusts that the Church of England will always realise that one part of her vocation is to minister to those who, amid peculiar trials of faith and circumstances of spocial isolation, are serving God in the great work of governing India.
