FOOTBALL.
KOTA KITANO A CLUB. The sixth annual meeting of the Kctahitanga Football Club was held in the Maori Hall, Little River, on Saturday. Mr L. Green was voted to the chair. The chairman complimented the club on having won the Parkinson Challenge Shield, the Little River Football Association cup and the J. F. Buchanan presentation cun for the first time since the formation of the club. Toe balance sheet was’read and adopted.. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr R. H. Rhodes, M.P. ; president, Mr J. Wakofield: vicepresidents, Messrs W. F. Parkinson, •!. O. Coop, H. 1). Buchanan, J. F. Buchanan. F. G. Birdling, A. E. Birdling. J. Montgomery, J. Gaskin and S. T. Harris; captain. Mr J. Karetai; vice-captain, Mr J. Whaitiri; committee, Messrs T.' Skipper, G. Skipper. .T. Barlow, Karetai, Whaitiri, Stanfield and Wallace; delegates to Peninsula Sub-Union. Messrs L. Green and J. Karetai: treasurer, Mr G. Robinson, jun.; secretary, Mr L. B. Green. It was decided to open the season ‘ on Saturday next-
WAIAU CLUB. . The annual general meeting of the Waiau Football Club was held on Wed. nesday last, when there were. twenty members present.
