SCOTTISH CHURCHES.

APPEAL FOR REUNION. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, April 8. The Duke of Argyll, Mr Balfour, Mr Bonar Law and many peers, members of the House of Commons and other influential Scotsmen have signed an appeal to Scotland on the subject of the reunion of the churches. The Duke of Argyll, in a letter approving of the general appeal to the Scottish public to support the reunion, says that he rejoices that efforts are being made to terminate the outward forms of separation. He adds that these exist chiefly in. form and for the exaltation of the Church of Romo.
