A Paris messago says that the Aeronautical Society has formed an ' association to investigate safety appliances, and is asking the Government to contribute a prize of £20,000. ONLY A BROKEN JAW. VANCOUVER. February 23. While biplaning at Oakland, Tom Gunn, Chinese aviator, fell 150 ft after losing control of his machine. He crashed into a fence, but escaped with only a broken jaw. AVIATOR KILLED. . PARIS, February 24. Lieutenant Ducourneau, flying at Pau, fell 480 feet and was killed.
