CHRISTCHURCH. Sattjrdav, Febbttabt 24. (Bafore Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M.) DzztsKZXSKSS. —Three first offenders fcr drunkenness were eaoh fined ss, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. Thett.—Richard Morton (Mr Alpers) pleaded guilty to having stolen goods to tho value of 10s, from Messrs Strange and Co., his emplovers, between January 20 and 23. He was fined 20s, in default fourteen days' imprisonment, and ordered to refund the value of. the goods stolen. Wiltul Damage.—Alexander Thompson pleaded guilty to .having broken four panes of glass of a value of £3 in tho house of his wife, from whom he was separated by an order of the Court. He was sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment. Obpceme Language. —Joseph Frederick William Holborne pleaded guilty to having used obscene language and to having assaulted a constable. He was sentenced to three months imprisonment on each charge, the terms to run concurrently.
