LONDON, December 26.
Advices from Tripoli received at Malta state that 16,000 Arabs, with cannon and a quick-firer, participated in tho recent attack on Ainzara. The Italians were surprised and thrown into disorder, and ha:l to be repeatedly reinforced. The Italians are converting Ainzara into an impregnable fortress and mounting long-range guns.
TURKISH ATTACK REPULSED TRIPOLI, December 27.
A thousand Turks, stretching from the sea to Berka, advanced westward towards Benghazi. The Italians withheld their fire until they were within two thousand yards, when the artillery drove them off, inflicting considerable loss. '
