Tho Ashburton Bowling Club held a progressive double tournamont on Friday, when eighteen pairs took part. In the final garao H. C. Craighead (skip) and. the Rev E. "Whitehouso beat T. M. Work (skip) and "W. Dixou.
On Saturday tho badgo matches wero continued on tho Dunsandol green, w'hon J. T. AVri?ht, .T. M'Millan, E. Claydon and J. Boag (skin) 21 beat A. M'Pherson. sen.. ,T. Parlane, J. Boag, jun., and G. W. Kime (skip) 14. On Saturday a.rink from, tho Southbridge Club cloved a rink from tho Dunsandol Club, Dunsandel winning by 29 to ]G. The following were the plnycra:—Southbridge—.T. Collier, ,T. W. A.
