The Wellington “ Post ,r states that Mr G. E. Tolhurst, who for some twenty-one years has been inspector in Few Zealand of tho Union Bank, will bTobably retire from that position. Mr It. A. Holmes, until recently manager Sat Wellington, but who for some anonths past has beon acting manager lat Melbourne, will probably succeed [Mr Tolhurst, and Mr JD. Stuart at present acting manager in Wellington, jtwiTTbe confirmed in that position, k Messrs H. It Voyce, F. Lurch and |W. Pring, who attended tho recent (conference of waterside workers, rerturned to Lyttoiton yesterday morning.
