The golf championship was continued this morning on the Wanganui Club links in ideal golfing woathcr, and with a very largo attendance. Groat interest was taken in the play,’ largo numbers following tlio more prominent players in their rounds. Hie results of tho day’s play were as follows: PROFESSIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Second Round.

The best of the other cards handed in were: -Fisher and Seymour 2 up, Lusk and Nicoll 2 up, Buttcrworth and Godby 2 up, Kidstor.e and Bameavis 1 up, Taylor and Bartlett 1 down, Mcldrum and Goss 1 down, Gordon and PhaTazyn 2 down. Seifert and Traill 2. down. Hales and K. Duncan 2 down, Lewis and Ritchie 2 Tho bogey handicap resulted:—Kapi Tareha (owe 1) 4 up, A. H. Nicoll (10) 2 up, C. St G. Gore (4) 1 up, G. Saunders (scr) all square, J. Forbes 'scr) all square. Tho semi-finals of the professional championship will be played at nine o'clock tomorrow morning, when Clements will meet Watt and F. Hood will meet M'Ewon.
