THE KING’S BIRTHDAY.

Before commencing the civil sitting of the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., stated that in accordance with a request from the Law Society he had decided to declare Monday a Court holiday. He mentioned the fact so that lawyers might adjourn any of their cases set down for tlint day for their own convenience. He would call the Court sheet on Monday, but would do nothing further.
