BOMB OUTRAGE.

A cablegram from Calcutta states that Mukherji, who throw a bomb at a motor containing a Public Works engineer, lias confessed that he threw the bomb at the wrong car. It is believed that he intended to kill an officer of the Criminal Investigation Department. Mr Cowley, tho inspector who was in the car, escaped death by cleverly catching the bomb.
