FURTHER OUTRAGES ON WHITE WOMEN. THE PUBLIC INCENSED. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received February 5, 5.5 p.m.) CAPE TOWN, February 4. There have been five cases of natives criminally assaulting or attempting to indecently assault white women on the Witwa.tersrand alone during the past few days. The public are incensed, and the Judges are urged to inflict the utmost penalty in all cases. Tho worst one was committed in broad daylight. The criminal escaped after, violating and attempting to murder a lady teacher, who was cycling homeward.
