King Goldminiugt Company also the chairman of directors of tho Dominion Gold and Ironsand Companyin connection with the development of the interests of both companies. It is expcctosi that operations in both instances will bo commenced carry next month. -In connection with the last-mentioned company it is proposed to work the Five Milo Beach (south of Okarito); which is regarded as • possessing much hidden wealth. The up-to-date, methods which the company wi'l adopt, in treating the grounds should hare most setisfaetorji results. . The Five Milo Beach has always been regarded as highly payable, even when worked by the primitive methods adupted in tho past, but when hydraulic elevating is introduced it should revolutionise milling matters in South Westland, especially in regard to working tho beach.
