[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, November 7. At a largely attended no-license rally held to-night Mr Wesley Spragg, president of the New Zealand Alliance, presiding, the following resolutions were carried:—(l) “That tho Government be requested to accede this session to the just demand for equality of voting at the licensing polls, by removing the three-fifths handicap and substituting the democratic principle of majority vote.” (2) “ That in addition to local option wo urge the Government this session to give sucTi legislation as will enable the electors to vote on dominion option as a distinct and separate issue.”
