FIRE OVERTAKES DRUNKEN LABOURERS, FIFTEEN KILL]®. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, June 15. A message from Ottawa states that terrible results attended a fire in wooden buildings housing one hundred and fifty Austrian labourers engaged in erecting tlio Canadian Lower Development Company’s works at Falls View, Niagara. Many of the Austrians wore intoxicated after a carnival. Fifteen of them were killed, because they were stupefied with drink and wore thus unable to ©scape.
