FIRES.

[Per Press Association.] BLENHEIM, Juno 13. The insurances on the buildings in Saturday's fire at St Patrick's Hall are £SOO in the United Office; old convent building, £250 in the same office; Catholic Club, £l5O in the Liverpool and London and Globe; library, £SO, and billiard-table £75, both in the Royal Exchange Office. A five-roomed house in Jerrold Street, Addington, was dostroyed by lire early this morning. The house belonged to Mr G. Heard, and was occupied by Mr George Buick, who with his wife and children escaped in their night clothes. Two of the fire brigade's engines and a number of men turned out under Superintendent Erck, and prevented the fire from spreading. Mr Buick's furniture, which was dostroyed, was insured in tho Victoria Office.
