Wheat.—The revised official estimate of the Argentine wheat crop available for export is 2,200,000 tons. The American visible supply is 53,509,000 bushels. Tallow.—At the tallow sales 938 casks were offered and 793 sold; mutton, fine 37s 6d, medium 34s 6d; beef, fine 375, medium 345. Silver. —Is ll|d per oz. The following is a copy of a cablegram received by Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, from their London office, dated March 16:—“Since our last cablegram prices of bpef tallow'and beefy mixed tallow are 3d to 6d higher. For other descriptions of tallow the market is firm at last quotations.”
