At th© meeting of the University Senate to-day, on Dr Fitchett’s motion ( a. return was ordered showing the number of passes and failures at'the ma T triculation examinations for ear 1 f the last ten years. The following motion by th© iicv A. Cameron was approved and referred to the Statutes Committee:—“That candidates for junior university or senior national scholarships, on sending in notice of their intention to sit for examination, be required to forward to the Registrar a signed certificate that they have paid due attention to physical training.” The Senate discussed the matter of making netv regulations for the course for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees.
