[Pee Peess Association.] WELLINGTON, January 21 At Trentham this morning Sharpshooter cleared away from Guianforte over six furlongs, run in lmin 16 3-ssec. Boanerges did four furlongs in 61sec. Lady Medallist- covered a mile m lmin 46sec, and Ringdove and Roosevelt the last six of seven furlongs in lmin 18soc. Kopu, Osiris and Polyanthus finished over a mile in that order in lmin 48 15sec, and Crucinella and Bollin covered the same distance in lmin 48soc. Tiunut wa3 better than Sunbonnet over five furlongs, run in lmin 4 3-oseo. Silkweb took lmin ssec, Equitas lmin 2eec and Kilindini lmin 3see over the same distance. Downfall beat Muskerry over a mile in lmin 46$sec. Wimmera held Separator safe oyer five furlongs, run in lmin SJaoc. and Laius covered four furlongs in 52 2-ssec. Bobrikoff was responsible for a good performance, getting to the end of a mile in fairly heavy going in lmin 43 2-Ssec The summer meeting of the Wellington Racing Club will bo commenced at Trentham to-day, when the Wellington Cup and Telegraph Handicap will be the principal attractions.
