Ernest John Heale (Mr Cassidy) admitted having misappropriated £6B 14s Bthe property of the Star of Linwood Oddfellows’ lx>dge, and bo was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. The evidence led by the police disclosed the fact that Heale had been' treasurer to the lodge and had not paid over certain sunm to other lodges. Bail was allowed, the accused in £75 and one surety of £75 or two of £37 10s.
