Tho management committee of tho Now Zealand Rugby Union to-wight decided to inform tho Nelson Union that if a person who acted as gatekeeper playod foot ball ho iron Id become a professional, but could apply for reinstatement as an amateur. Rcfcrenco to alterations in the laws of the game was mndc by tho Auckland Union. It. xra& decided that referees' decisions must be given in accordance with tho laws of the game. It was resolved to inform the Auckland Union that the New Zealand Union understood that, games there were not being played in accordance with the laws and pointing out that no affiliated Union had power to do this. Tho Hawko's Bay Union is to be asked for evidence concerning the five years' disrjunlincation of two players for iiMiig bad language to a referee, The Hawko's Bay Union's application for the removal or tho disqualification of live years imposed on a Native two years ago for bad language and inciting to rough play was refused.
